New drive at last
My old 32X CDROM drive finally gave up the ghost this week and I can hardly blame it. It has been in almost constant use for nigh on eight years. The timing was perfect in that, for once, I could spare a few bucks to replace it.
Now sitting in the slot is Memorex Dual format Recorder. It reads and writes both DVDs and CDs, writable and rewritable at a variety of speeds, maxing out at 48X. Not only that but the little blue light nicely matches those on my case.
At last I can get round to burning all those discs I have planned to do for ever. For example, duplicating some choice albums from my collection to keep in the car for long solo journeys.
