04/22/2003: "Conversion to XHTML"

May I apologise to anyone who finds that pages on this site are not accessible for a few days. I am converting all the HTML code for all the pages to XHTML and I am running into a number of problems, not least of which is lack of time and rest! I hope that by the end of the week all pages will be done. For a while some of the pages will look a little basic, bear with me, I am working on it. If this site was comprised of half a dozen pages it would be a walk in the park. Unfortunately, this site has over 200 pages and many of them feature rather complex code for a 2 fingered typist to deal with quickly. The page that you are reading is done and will stay so, the others are proving tiresome! To see how far I am in the process, click the 'More on the subject' link below
A recent entry on my Guestbook by a person called Bårdur, possibly German I think, gave me a fuzzy warm feeling and made me think of flowers and little bunnies! I love to think that every now and then my site is an inspiration or is of assistance. to somebody. Most of the time it is just a way for me to educate myself and keep a way open for people to contact me. My thanks to Bårdur for keeping my faith in this seemingly pointless project!

As of April 24th, all pages from A to L inclusive are done. There may be some problems but they'll be dealt with soon.
