Done at last!
Every page on this site, with the exception of the Guestbook, is now in validated XHTML. For the time being, there has been a loss of some background textures and some of the text is at the wrong size. These issues will be dealt with in the fullness of time. The Guestbook is going to be a harder nut to crack because the page is generated by a CGI Script. When time and energy permit, I plan to try and modify the script so that it produces good XHTML markup. Once again, this site is ahead of the competition and is where it belongs, at the cutting edge!

May I apologise to anyone who finds that pages on this site are not accessible for a few days. I am converting all the HTML code for all the pages to XHTML and I am running into a number of problems, not least of which is lack of time and rest! I hope that by the end of the week all pages will be done. For a while some of the pages will look a little basic, bear with me, I am working on it. If this site was comprised of half a dozen pages it would be a walk in the park. Unfortunately, this site has over 200 pages and many of them feature rather complex code for a 2 fingered typist to deal with quickly. The page that you are reading is done and will stay so, the others are proving tiresome! To see how far I am in the process, click the 'More on the subject' link below
A recent entry on my Guestbook by a person called Bårdur, possibly German I think, gave me a fuzzy warm feeling and made me think of flowers and little bunnies! I love to think that every now and then my site is an inspiration or is of assistance. to somebody. Most of the time it is just a way for me to educate myself and keep a way open for people to contact me. My thanks to Bårdur for keeping my faith in this seemingly pointless project!
