04/14/2003: "Blimey.....What a weekend that was! Volume Two"

I like to think that the weekend starts the moment I leave work on Friday, sometimes even as early as Tuesday but this past weekend was more traditional. The first event of note actually began a couple of weeks back. Our VHS/DVD combo was not working in the way it was designed. We took it back to the store and had to add five bucks for a slightly better model because ours was no longer sold there. Having got the new unit home and working as advertised, I popped online to see if there was a hack that would allow me to play DVDs from elsewhere. Woohoo! There was an easy fix to my problem and we now had a multi-region DVD player.
The next pay check promted me to visit Amazon.co.uk where the first five series of 'Only Fools and Horses' were soon ordered.
Fat-forward to this weekend. I return home on Friday evening to find a package waiting for me. The wait was over and the hack could be tested. Luvely-Jubbly! It worked just great. Robin and Jake are now being educated in the affairs of the Trotters and all will live happily ever after.

It will show all the content so if you are using IE for Win' you'll just be missing some clever layouts and effects.
